Tina R. Mitchell, GCDF
Tina Mitchell is the Founding and Executive Director of CrossBRIDGE, Inc. and an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. She serves as the Pastor of Compassionate Ministries at Trevecca Community Church. Through Tina’s vision and leadership, CrossBRIDGE was formed in order to expand the compassionate ministries of Trevecca Community Church (TCC). Before coming to Nashville in 2002, Tina traveled the world for 20 years with her Air Force husband and served many years as a Children’s Pastor and Pastor of Discipleship. She was ordained in 2002 and received professional certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) in 2006. That same year, she completed Offender Workforce Development Specialist (OWDS) training with the National Institute of Corrections and in 2008 completed OWDS Instructor training.
The programs Tina leads through CrossBRIDGE and TCC have been featured on television on The 700 Club, Hope for the City, local news broadcasts, and written about in The Tennessean newspaper and in Outreach, GROW and Holiness Today magazines.
Tina is member of the treatment team for the Davidson County General Sessions Treatment Court and serves on the Tennessee Offender Workforce Development Initiative team and the Transition from Jail to Community (TJC) Initiative team. She serves on the boards of Recovery Community Inc. and Nashville Prevention Partnership. She is a member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), Tennessee and National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) and National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).
Tina has been married to Billy for 30 years. They have three daughters, Stacy (married to Clint), Patty and Christina.
